President Obama Takes In Technion on Israel Visit 2013
Video from Technion YouTube channel
Pres. Obama meets Technion innovation on his March Visit to Israel including an Iron Dome battery, developed by Technion graduates working at Rafael; Prof. Alon Wolf and his snake robots; Technion alumnus Amit Goffer and his exoskeleton ReWalk that enables paraplegics to walk, Prof. Igor Verner and PhD student Dan Cuperman and the students they mentored who created the waiter robots and outstanding MSc student Saeed Kharouf.
If that wasn’t enough Technion engineers at the Russell Berrie Nanotechnology Institute made the nation’s gift for the president, a nano-chip etched with the US and Israel Declarations of Independence affixed to an ancient stone.
